Community Health Partnership’s LGBTQ+ Health Equity Project is excited to announce training opportunities for LGBTQ+ affirming mental health care providers. 

Provided by the Colorado-based nonprofit Envision:You, the LGBTQ+ Behavioral Health Provider Training Program helps practitioners develop new skills and gain critical knowledge to enhance the delivery of quality, culturally relevant behavioral health services, and identify affirming behavioral health interventions. The multi-phase training program offers both in-person and online options that deliver content through an intersectional and trauma-informed lens.

Thanks to generous grant support, this training is free of charge (valued at $300). Additionally, any provider who participates in the Level 1 or Level 2 training has the opportunity to receive continuing education credits.

Level 1 Training (on-line and on-demand)

Completing and passing Level 1 Training is a prerequisite for Level 2 Training. Approximately 75 minutes long, this training features dynamic content and includes randomized testing. To get started:

• Click on Level One: Introductory Training
• From there you will create a user account.
• You will then be given instructions on how to proceed through the Level One Training.

Upcoming Level 2 Training Dates (more dates to come)

Level Two’s interactive format ensures participants are engaged in the content, have the opportunity to interact with presenters and other participants, and leave feeling inspired and ready to provide affirming behavioral health services to members of the LGBTQ+ community.
