At the Evening in Tuscany event July 27, the Chamber & EDC recognized Aimee Cox with the Brava Donna Award, which honors a local woman in business who gives her time and talent to our community.
In addition to her work internationally and domestically on multiple causes, Cox held positions of tremendous responsibility in El Paso County and the City of Colorado Springs, as well as serving as mayor pro tem for the City of Manitou Springs.
At the City of Colorado Springs, Cox launched the initiative to end homelessness. In her current role as CEO for Community Health Partnership, she leverages her passion for building vibrant communities to improve the health of citizens throughout the Pikes Peak region.

State establishes permanent medication take-back locations
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has established a permanent household medication take-back program, adding more than 42 drop-off locations in two dozen counties across the state.
